NPR’s Science Friday

I’ve subscribed to this podcast recently. It’s really good! Kinda like Skepticality, but more in depth on a single particular topic set for that session.

And the range of topics being discussed is pretty broad. From discussing Einstein’s relativity paper (which had tons of trivia on it), to truth in Vitamins, to Religion vs. Evolution vs. Intelligent Design.

One of my favorite topics so far was the Physics of Superheroes, which is actually an introductory to physics book created to put a positive spin on an otherwise boring subject.

Names

Hey, this is one of the better “surveys.” I had fun answering this.

Write the names of 20 people you know, off the top of your head, then answer the questions below. then tag as many people as the number of minutes you took doing this

c/o Jowi

I dunno what the hell this whole “tagging” business is, so I’m not gonna take part in it.

Rape that bitch!

Who ever thought I’d ever get the chance to say those words sincerely right now.

Maxi is in heat… and I saw her try to hump Amber a while ago… (ensue laughing-ass-off bit)

Now I’m here with the Lumix, waiting patiently for her to try it again so I can take a picture of the lesbian action. Who am I kidding… I’m not waiting, I’m cheering them to get it on!

“Rape that bitch!”

Palibhasa gusto niya ng hotdog!

Let’s talk about sex

Sex makes people healthy, cheerful, strong, beautiful and sleepy:

It is generally believed that human beings have sex either for pleasure or reproduction. However, the number of people driven with these motivations has been reducing steadily during the recent years. The majority of humans use sex as the most pleasant and available remedy for a whole bouquet of problems.

DUH!?!? Why are news items like these popping up now? This has been a fact since the beginning of time! In fairness, it was dated July 2005, but still!

It’s a good argument nonetheless to use for persuading your girl/guy, who likes going to the gym, to put their efforts to “better use” hehehehe. Seriously.

Mapatulan nga…

Jowi posted something interesting in her blog, which I will have to disagree with to a certain extent. I’ve commented on it, but I thought instead of editing myself with follow up replies (since LJ doesn’t seem to have a comment-edit feature) I’ll just state my argument here.

Read the post first before looking below, because I will assume you have absorbed it. Read More
