Laguna gig

BP went on another provincial gig yesterday.

Ever since my first performance with the group out of town, I’ve gotten used to the fact that droves of people ask for autographs (what was then a shock). Truly, any out of town gig (yes out of town in general, even in the US) is quite amusing when seen in this perspective.

Though I thought that I’ve gotten the routine down, life still managed to give a few surprises.

I just noticed that LiveJournal has a lousy cookie based authentication system.

Not really a threat unless you like accessing stuff on a public terminal (or friends houses). The lesson here is that when you access your account from other pcs, don’t forget to log-out.

Kayod kabayo

Here I am working my ass off for a deadline. On the upside, it’s a very enjoyable “project” (save for the deadline). How I love my work, as it never required me to wake up and report at any particular time. Plus I get to handle a bunch of the smartest people I ever knew.

Hell, I even enjoy working sick – I’ve been having a slight fever the past few days, but that didn’t matter of course.

I’m really excited about this whole thing. Can’t wait till it flies (if it flies). I’ve always believed in one’s own power, but it wouldn’t hurt that God would also smile kindly upon our company when the time comes. “Do your best, and God will do the rest” eh? Well I’m definitely doing my best regardless, so my mind is at peace with regards to that.

Of the past days

I’m sick, my voice is shot to hell. Had a despedida for two of the “SoulSearch” members (GP and Jeline) and ended up singing our lungs out till 4am (can you help it – when you’re with bunched up with groups like ACS, UP Madrigals, and ACGC all in the same place at the same time?)

Well, GP and Jeline are gone. Left yesterday to follow their dreams (that’s such a cheezy line hehehehe)
