Burning frenzy and others

“View post”

I came home last night to see that my 120GB “scratch” disk (which I use for downloads) had only 75MB free space left.

I was finally forced to buy the CD spindle I put off in favor of my optimus prime

I moved a whole chunk of my downloads to my main drive… and today, I’m burning them off.

I think the whole trouble I have with free space is because of the TONs of Mac apps I’ve been downloading recently. Just like the time I was collecting apps for my XDA before I got it – I’ve found myself gaining access to a myriad of sites, forums and servers… pretty much Mac warez nirvana, if you ask me.

One site I particularly love is MTKA (Mac Torrents Kick Ass), which is a by-invitation torrent site. Ever since I’ve started surfing for Mac stuff, I was surprised at how much … er … “black market” sources were available hehehehe. Almost as easy to find stuff like in the PC. It’s really funny if you think about it – I don’t have my Powerbook yet, but I probably have better access to software than most Mac fanatics.

Of course the fact still remains that there are just too few choices of software in the Mac (as against the PC) – yet that could be a blessing if you think about it: You wont have to worry so much about being up to date with your software. And even if should you find out that you don’t have the latest, if you can’t find them in the sites like MTKA, chances are, the rest of the non-paying world can’t find them either hehehe. That leaves everyone on an equal footing.
