A big thank you to JC, for pointing out a bug in my layout due to the Google Adsense ads I included.

For some reason, both FireFox and IE don’t display my Google Adsense ads. I’m guessing its the part of the ad-blockers (which speed up pageloads)

Anyways, because of that, my site has been looking strange for the past couple of days without my knowing. It’s fixed now, so all is back to normal.

My ImageTank seems to be acting up. I’m trying to see if I can buy new batteries instead of having the thing warrantied – which can take forever.

*If you guys have any information on how to get batteries of this type, let me know.*

More tips on using the 20D which I came up with after more experimenting and verification:

• When flash sync is set to auto (a custom function), do not enable safety shift, as it tends to change your exposure settings (e.g. it is biased to a slow flash sync setting).
• Using the 1/250 second (fixed) setting can solve the previous problem, but it is not recommended unless you absolutely need such a fixed sync speed.
• FEC (flash exposure compensation) and EV (exposure value) compensation are your friends.
• Pay close attention to the metering modes you use, as well as how ETTL-II behaves in different settings.
