Vindicated

Very seldom does this thing happen to me, but I feel vindicated when it comes to that little gadget I bought a few posts ago.

It seems that Dan of Dansdata has reviewed the very same gadget (well different brand, but same OEM device no doubt). I love Dan’s articles, he what you would call “a guy who knows his shit,” and I’ve been following his articles ever since I can remember.

Another thing: I was first… by more than a week! Hehehe.

Of course, his review is obviously better, but it’s just nice to know that my taste in tech gadgetry hasn’t been totally corrupted (just a little) by the sway of aesthetics and marketing gimmicks.

Yesterday

Note to self: Never ride the back of any big-ish car/van with lousy suspension.

Had to wake up early morning for this “guesting” we had in a public school in Tondo. Our friend Candice works for Centex, an Ayala subsidiary (foundation) and she teaches music to kids.

Anyways, The group was comprised of Her, Mich, Jampao, Kenneth, Moks, and me. The trip going there was ok, probably since I was sitting in the backseat and not the farthest part of the van/fx/whatever.

We got there and Jampao did his thing. He’s amazing as a teacher – especially to kids. You can really see a passion in his way of teaching, regardless if he has knack for it or not. Simply put, we honestly think that he’ll end up being a teacher cuz he’s just so damn good at it.
