Been a while since I’ve posted. So here are the points to be kwento’d
Webstuff
Here’s some webstuff for you. I would have to say Digg is a pretty good source for interesting news. Not necessarily new, or useful, but interesting nonetheless. After all, that’s the whole point of their social bookmarking approach – to see what people in general find interesting.
Anyways, just don’t be surprised that a lot of the things I post would be coming from the said site.
Top of the world
The cycle of life – one minute you’re at the top of everything, the next you’re at the bottom. Aside from the financial aspect of everything, I’d pretty much say that I’m at the top right now.
Half-life
Awww… looks like the site died. Now where will I get my morning laughs?
It’s actually a shame, since it really had the potential to be a “good” critic site. People will always have their opinions on the anonymity issue (or the sheer significance of a “rant” site, which is pretty much exactly what it was) – so I won’t even touch that with a 20-foot pole.
It’s all relative
Good bye Dark Matter, Hello General Relativity
Oringally posted on Slashdot: “…a new paper by scientists at the University of Victoria has demonstrated that one of the prime observational justifications for the existence of dark matter can be explained without any dark matter at all, by a proper use of general relativity!”

Assuming this is true (which I think it could very well be) – it’s nice to see that Occam’s Razor, and Einstein’s amazing foresight have been proved effective once again.
And, if you’ll allow me to take a somewhat tangential remark, take it further to a metaphysical point of view and it can segue to an “it depends” situation… and we all know how popular an answer that is.
What camera is the best? What’s the best car? What is the ideal man/woman? Is x form of government good? What’s the best conduct for competition?
I’m beginning to wonder if this too, is answer the age-old question: Why are we here?
I must be really bored… to be coming up with [pathetic, corny] digressions such as these.
Seriously, going back to the actual topic, I dare anyone to try visualizing the paper’s abstract. I wish they’d include pictures so my small brain would understand it better.
