The best LOST theory out there

For those of you who, like me, have given up on LOST simply because it took too goddamn long to resolve anything, here’s some guy’s take which is very compelling.

Don’t get me wrong, I think LOST is an awesome concept, and I don’t think less of anyone who has diligently watched every episode till now. It’s just that honestly, for a series that has that much of complexity in the concept alone, you really should limit how many seasons it will run and make sure it resolves by then. Right now it’s like they’re extending the seasons just because of the ratings and not necessarily because the story needs that much seasons to unravel.

Or they could at least try doing it a-la Heroes; where it answers a ton of questions as fast as it can (sometimes even within the season). That way, even if new questions/issues arise – nothing is compounded; and the viewers have to come to grips with less of a mind-fuck.

  1. Ok yun ah. Although in fairness I think they’ve revealed more in this season than they have since the beginning. Saka they already set an end point for the series so I think they’ve stopped making it up as they go along, which is how Season 2 felt. Nun ako mejo tumigil manood for a time. Pero the end of S3 brought me back. Hehehe.
