Nice. My aunt is going home on Wednesday with 3 iPhones for my sister as well. And I have to say, even though I’m a member of the “Creative Rebellion”, tuwing dumadaan kami sa Apple store, I play with one of these. Kung open sana ‘to sa T-Mobile, I may have even gotten one myself. Ba’t kasi ginawang exclusive sa AT&T eh.

did you use the new unlocking method or the old one? the new unlocking method supposedly gets around the new firmware.
The old one.
AFAIK, the 1.1.1 unlock puts the phone in a state where it’s running the 1.1.1 software, but using an OLD (1.0.2) baseband (which has been unlocked)
But as of the 11th, the iPhone dev team was already able to get the seccpack for 1.1.1 so I guess an “official unlock” (as ironic as that sounds) is just around the corner.
