Mah Biatch!

Imagine my surprise when Mom walked in with a new dog! And a purebred to boot, we must be moving up in the world hahahaha. We actually got her for free… cool!

She a Dachshund, and she’s sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!

We sorta named her, but we’re having second thoughts about it. You see, Mom had dibs on Maxi; Pia named Piper – naturally I thought it fair to claim my right on naming this hotdog.

I wanted Zoe (as in zoe-wi), but Pia wanted her named Daphne… then we came to Amber. Amber was good since normally it would be the resin of a tree or related to wood. But as a color, it could cover any shade of yellow, red and brown. So just to be sure, we went with Caramel

But now thinking about it, Caramel is such a pain to say (3 whole syllables) – what if we’re tired in bed and want to call her? You try it, it isn’t as easy as it sounds. So we’re contemplating on going back to Amber as soon as everyone’s here (which I don’t understand why since it should be my decision – but hey I won’t force the issue.)

As of the moment, Mom and I are leaning back to Amber.

FYI: we usually have long ridiculous names for our dogs (save for piper). It all started with Stephanie (my half-sister) wanting a sort of stupid “versace-ish” name for Maxi. She ended up getting the “full name” “Maximillian Kartuti-Salcedi”

And if Caramel was the final name of the Daschund, then her ridiculously long name would be “Caramel Daphne-Amber Zoe y Santos. “Santos” pronounced a-la fake habla-espanol: THANTOTH. And Daphne-Amber a-la jologs: DUFFNEEYUM-BUR (accent on YUM)

UPDATE The verdict is in: it’s Amber now short for Amber Carmelita y Santos muwahahaha.

Have a say
