WebStuff!

When was the last time I posted some webstuff? Well the post right before this one was, but I mean like my usual “webstuff” webstuff. So now I’m posting some stuff I came across, in no particular order, some of which may be old news which I just decided to comment on today.

On Terri Schiavo

I congratulate Mr. Michael Schiavo for taking heart and slam dunking even the family of Terri. Autopsy reports from other articles clearly shown her brain half the size it was supposed to be, with absolutely no chance of regenerating regardless of the available technology. Simply put, he was right.

And I’d like Terri’s family to remember that. The article now shows that same family contesting cremation, and being displeased on the date of death. Again, I wish they just accept the fact that they know jack shit about their daughter.

The husband truly loved her, and did what was best for her. And it is just fitting he gets the right to decide what when where and how at this juncture. As a person who truly loved her, the last thing you want is to hurt the person you love… moreso be wrongly accused of doing so. So now that he has proven himself to be right, just let him be for chrissake!

Mr. Schiavo has earned the right to decide on everything at this point. Period. Fuck you.

Other Significant Deaths

Jaime Cardinal Sin is dead. But as much as I might sound like an ass, what’s more important to me is the death of the inventor of the IC (integrated Circuit).

I’m sure a lot of Filipinos will post about Cardinal Sin so I’ll let them do the tributes. I on the other hand, in my own little way, want to make sure that Mr. Jack Kilby, be mentioned and remembered.

Without the IC, there’d be no microprocessor (which is an IC, and an advanced one at that) – and ultimately no [small] computers, iPODs, cellphones, or any advanced electronics that we know of today.

So while we grieve for the holy people who have died today, I’d also like us to remember the people who actually made a considerable difference in the world.

Mr. Kilby, rest in peace.

New Solar System Formed

Anyone thinking that Middle Earth might just be born in that system?

Do The Mario!

Someone has taken upon himself the task of recording the songs from SuperMarioWorld (this is Mario 3 which premiered in the SNES if I’m not mistaken). All done by one man, but the cool thing is they are all live instruments I think… by one man.

And the interpretations are actually quite good considering the source material.

Planetary Conjunction

Ok all you witches and warlocks, now is the time to start doing those once in a lifetime spells of yours while the “planets are aligned.”

Of course you’d have to settle for only some of them being pretty darn close together. But hey that still is something you don’t see often!

Have a say
