Pantig – de Jesus Nuptials

Forgot that I hadn’t posted pics from Ginny’s wedding! Sorry Gin! Better late than never naman di ba?

Pictures found here.

And for a video bonus, here’s the group practicing “Now Unto Him”

Forgive the loud 9th at the end; I was correcting some people at that point.

Been a busy weeked for the group

Here are some gallery sets from a wedding in Santuario de San Jose. Which was a riot, since the wedding right after our underground group was another underground contingent of the older [non-active] members. Nagka-bukuhan! hahahaha!

Then there’s another memorable one at Santurario de San Antonio; where we started putting our “shy” members into “solo mode.” 1 Actually baka si Vino lang… si Gino naman gusto niya talaga; you’re not fooling anyone with your “modest” approach dude. But I still love you. I always believed that “forcing” [preferably unwilling] people to step up to the plate and sing is always good for individual confidence (and overall group morale) – what better testing grounds than weddings gigs right?

And how could we forget the unofficial “Grand Alumni Homecoming” mini-concert before the mass during the 7th Simbanggabi at Gesu. A whole bunch of members residing/stationed in different parts of the world came home for the holidays… and we ended up doing an impromptu repertoire to utilize the rare “concert-force” attendance. Back from Cebu and random thoughts

Arrrgh! Blog still acting up! So I’ll try not to include any URLs in this post just to be sure I don’t get any errors. The issue should’ve been resolved already but apparently the DBD::mysql module of my server hasn’t been updated yet.

Anways I just came from a trip to Cebu. Second time I visited the place, first was for work and now for a wedding. And what a wedding it was! I’m glad I don’t live in Cebu since this guy really set the bar. I can just imagine all the men there feeling mightily inadequate after hearing about it.

Of the days that passed

Been a while since I posted, but too much has happened for me to recall every detail so I’ll try to summarize everything.

Early last week, GP, Mr. Jojo, and I watched Madagascar. We tried the premiere theater in Shangri-la (the 300 peso-ish, unlimited popcorn and drink theater). Hilarious movie. I loved those penguins!

Late last week, BP was in Tagaytay for Paola’s wedding. The “kid” of BP (which is ironic since she’s older than most of the newer members including ME) was finally getting hitched. They reserved a cottage for the group in Caleruega… about 10 meters away from the church, which made it extremely easy for us to sleep late and wake up late and still make it without breaking a sweat.

Unfortunately, I developed a severe cough which killed my voice come the reception.

Sunday evening, upon returning home GP and I went to the DWTL mass, but only for the mass, I couldn’t sing since my voice was shot to hell. Glad to see some of the “oldies” still there at least for the Mass.

That same night, we met up with JD, Pia, and Leo (of ACS) to watch Sin City (finally!). All I can say is that I love Jessica Alba. She is a goddess.

Yesterday probably deserves its own post so I’ll stop right here for now.

Random thoughts

A whole bunch of stuff happened yesterday…

The morning was spent for a quick trip to Infomax Megamall where I purchased yet another bag.

The middle [and actually a whole chunk] of the day was spent with Nono, his brother Winch, Tuna, Noel and Benedict in San Agustin church where we shot the wedding and reception of a batchmate of ours.

The night was spent eating desert in the last stretch of what was supposed to be our family’s thanksgiving party. Now why we celebrate Thanksgiving in the first place – I haven’t the foggiest of ideas. (feeling Amerikano kme eh is what I’d like to say hahahahaha)

details below…
