Don’t mind this post (CSS Test)

I just posted so I can put all the “features” of Markdown, Smartypants, and Bo in one entry on the front page so I can style the site properly without having to change the archive pages just yet. You may disregard this post…

However, you may also check out the entry just to see the different element stylings. (e.g. quotes, code, footnotes, etc. etc.)

Net Neutrality

I was thinking a possible conspiracy theory behind the whole Net Neutrality thing. For those who don’t know what Net Neutrality is (quoted from wikipedia)

It identifies network bias toward or against particular classes of application or providers of content or services.

The general principle that network providers should not discriminate between people or organizations that provide services over a network. Companies selling broadband Internet access to consumers should not make contracts with service providers (such as websites) to provide better Internet access than is available for service providers who don’t have such agreements.

In the Philippines it really doesn’t matter because we’ve already lost the battle. Our telcos pretty much have a monopoly over the communication resources – so we are all already living in a world where “Net Neutrality” is already a lost cause.

South Park composite sketches

Just thought I’d share this. I saw an episode in South Park showing a sketch of what the four boys would probably look like in real life (and not to mention that the characters thought they were bad drawings hehehehe.

Oh and so not to waste postage “space,” lemme include their response to the Church of Scientology after successfully preventing a repeat of episode 12 of season 9:

“So, Scientology, you may have won this battle, but the million-year war for Earth has just begun! Temporarily anozinizing our episode will not stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies. Curses and drat!
