Not just &#8220;not deliver properly&#8221; my alleged part, but quite literally was <em>nowhere in the vicinity<\/em> to deliver.<\/p>\n<p>I saw my [half] brother-in-law Bubi attend the thing and we got to talking. The fact that it was ridiculously cold <em>and<\/em> he was a race-car driver led us both to the most logical agreement of thawing out in parking lot so he could also check out my car. We were slated to sing in the second set, and it seemed there was so much time. I was expecting literally 10 more minutes or something&#8230; even without an intermission\/break.<\/p>\n<p>About 3 minutes into the conversation, I look to the church and see a group on stage wearing earth tones. <em>Strange&#8230; only BP was wearing earth tones<\/em> as far as I can recall. When I saw Ali&#8217;s unmistakable scarf, it dawned on me that the second half had already started!<!--more--><!-- \/\/ --><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Twas a shame because the <em>only<\/em> song I was looking forward to singing that night was that particular song (well that, and &#8220;The Majesty and Glory of Your Name&#8221; <span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_943_1('footnote_plugin_reference_943_1_1');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_943_1('footnote_plugin_reference_943_1_1');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_943_1_1\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">1 <\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_943_1_1\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">Which unfortunately was going to be sung by a different choir hahaha<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_943_1_1').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_943_1_1', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> ). I really missed (pun intended) singing that song. <em>And I missed it again, goddamnit!<\/em> <\/p>\n<p>Anways, I&#8217;m posting about it because the last thing I want is to be someone who talks the talk but doesn&#8217;t walk the walk. I have no excuse for this lapse in responsibility, and the least I can do at this point is own up to it and apologize to anyone that was &#8220;hassled&#8221; by it. While I&#8217;m sure it&#8217;s no biggie, since everyone could&#8217;ve substituted easily, <span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_943_1('footnote_plugin_reference_943_1_2');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_943_1('footnote_plugin_reference_943_1_2');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_943_1_2\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">2 <\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_943_1_2\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">And it wasn&#8217;t like it was OUR concert<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_943_1_2').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_943_1_2', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> I just don&#8217;t like being the reason for any &#8220;complication&#8221; in anything that should&#8217;ve been executed like clockwork.<\/p>\n<p>I admit it, I was the weakest link tonight&#8230; and I apologize. Won&#8217;t happen again&#8230; I hope \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>On a positive note, I was able to finally get a Hydration Pack earlier in the day.
