For those of you who don’t know, A-Days is the alumni chapter of Days With the Lord. Considered to be the “unofficial” College days cuz it was started by Ateneo de Manila University students.

But Days politics is just useless trivia when taken in context of the round. Fact is, the “round” is just a gathering of friends who happen to be Dazers. What constitutes a round in our world? Basically, it’s a drinking session.

Now how would I, someone who doesn’t drink, be involved in such an activity? Well you gotta figure that shit out on your own hehehe. It’s really fun to watch people get drunk.

Anyways, pics are at the gallery.

Anime Fiesta

Well I love watching anime (Japanese animation) cuz they blow any american production out of the water. And though Japan has its share of utterly lousy anime such as this and this, they also have really serious stuff such as this and this.

The Japanese have a very appealing “wierdness” for me, that’s what makes them able to pump out series after series of just about anything you can think of… and even of those you can’t!

Anyways, my schedule finally cleared up a little so I had the time to watch some series i’ve been meaning to watch/finish. Thought I might share them with you. Feel free to click on the links for more information about each of them.

Naruto

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien

Great Teacher Onizuka

Twelve Kingdoms

Macross Zero

Peace Maker Kurogane

And since we’re talking about animation; I’ve finally watched seasons 1 and 2 of Clone Wars. I think it’s great that Lucas has given his blessing to produce such a series. It’s a bummer though, that he didn’t ask the Japanese to do it. So we’re left with Dexter’s Lab on steroids.

Cockroach Cleaner

Being the audio junkie that I am. I usually keep a stock of Electronic Contact Cleaner handy to clean the contacts of my audio gear. Little did I know that this fast drying, non-corrosive, no-residue-leaving spray is perfect to kill insects… particularly roaches. If you get a clear hit on a roach with this baby, I tell you they die in a matter of seconds!

Funny though that I use it more for killing vermin than cleaning contacts. And at 7 dollars, I think it’s pretty steep for roach-killing.

Apple Fever

I’ve just watched Steve Jobs’ keynote speech. It just blew my mind. Now I can’t wait for my 15″ Powerbook to come. There are so much features in the yet-to-be-released “Tiger” build of OSX, that are so useful to me in the business perspective.

Remember my post about GMail?, well it seems Apple has developed a new search system called “Spotlight,” with the power arguably similar to Google’s search engine. And they’ve implemented it on a system-wide scale. In the speech, Jobs demonstrated how you can access virtually anything on your computer with Spotlight. If GMail was specific to e-mail, Spotlight can find any type of file with incredible speed efficiency.

Of course I stll am a dedicated desktop PC user, as I really need some PC options that aren’t available on the Mac. But I must say, Apple is looking better every minute.

Thoughts for tonight: A-DWTL Round Anime fiesta The best cockroach cleaner bar-none Apple fever

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[4
89,96,372,473,485
post-71","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-general","tag-anime","tag-apple","tag-dwtl","tag-general","tag-gmail
["GET
