I even remember my <em>yaya<\/em> literally setting aside a 1L bottle for me and telling everyone else that we&#8217;re out of Coke, just so I could still have some when I wanted.<\/p>\n<p>But after college, that all stopped; naturally for what my Mom claimed to be health reasons. I never really thought about what &#8220;beverage&#8221; took on the title of <em>my favorite<\/em> simply because I never was a person to look for a specific beverage since then.<\/p>\n<p>Now though, I can honestly say the void has been filled:<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<a rel=\"lightbox\" href=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2411\/2276861141_7a2eeb8e6a_o.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"You may click on the image for more details\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2411\/2276861141_bcef63b494_m.jpg\"><\/a>\n<\/div>\n<!--more-->\n<h2>Milk Tea<\/h2>\n<p>First time I noticed this type of &#8220;beverage&#8221; was during my stay in Europe (I believe I was in grade school then); where they put milk in their [hot] tea. Anyways, the next time I noticed it was in China, where they served <em>Iced Milk Tea.<\/em> Suffice to say, I loved it.<\/p>\n<p>Now there are two places here that I know that carry it. One would be <em>DEC Food Plaza,<\/em> and the other would be your friendly neighborhood <em>Mini Stops.<\/em> The latter is always more accessible since it&#8217;s everywhere. And whenever I see a stock of said Milk Tea, I already get it by the box (almost always finishing the store&#8217;s stock in one purchase)&#8230; just like you see in the picture.<\/p>\n<p><em>That&#8217;s<\/em> how much I love it.<\/p>\n<p>2nd place would be <strong>Soy(a) Milk,<\/strong> wether it be of the <em>Fat and Slim<\/em> brand which isn&#8217;t quite natural tasting (but delicious nonetheless) or the more natural tasting ones such as those sold in <em>Soyayummy.<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the past the easy answer would be Coca Cola.
