Cingular locked? Hits the US in June? Hits Asia 2008? WTF man!?!?!?!<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Here I am stuck with my XDAII, which is a few months away from giving up on me totally (it has been acting strange the past half-year already)<\/p>\n

I was considering getting an Atom, but decided to wait it out because:<\/p>\n

  1. The Atom is too expensive – I mean I did spend more when I first got the XDA, but after everything, I don’t think I’m willing to spend the same amount for what it does. Don’t get me wrong though; I love the PocketPC platform.<\/li>\n
  2. Part of the plan on visiting the US was to get the iPhone as it was rumored to be released in January.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    So I decided on waiting it out – and they pull this crap! Now I’ll be forced to upgrade my phone to something other than the iPhone in the meantime out of necessity, then spend again<\/em> on it out of true purpose.<\/p>\n

    The only consolation I may<\/em> have is the fact that since there’s the iPhone, mobile prices will surely drop. Though it can go the other way as well, since it’s still not going to hit the shelves anytime soon, now could be a good time for price-gouging (at least in the Philippines). I truly hope it would be the former so I wouldn’t feel bad spending on a new phone that isn’t the iPhone.<\/p>\n
