There was one thing that irked me in the House’s<\/em> dialogs in each episode. Well it’s really more unsettling than it is irksome. It’s the use of the word nauseous<\/em> to mean nauseated.<\/em><\/p>\n

She’s feeling nauseous.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

No she’s not, unless she feels that she’s so ugly<\/em> that she’s downright disgusting (not disgustED) that other people are nauseated<\/em> by her being nauseous.<\/em> (or maybe just because she just smells like puke and feces) Get my drift?<\/p>\n

Now I do realize that probably by this generation, the word has already evolved to mean the same thing, and is commonly accepted as an alternative to the correct<\/em> usage. I think it’s sad though that one has to degrade the quality of different aspects in life simply because they become “commonplace.”<\/p>\n

That mentality is the very same reason why values\/morals\/etc. continue to degrade.<\/p>\n

But who am I to talk? After all, I always tend to forget putting an H when I spell “whether.”<\/p>\n\n

Going back to the degradation of the quality of daily life in general. I also usually find myself with conflicting opinions regarding the matter.<\/p>\n
