“Canon Speedlite 550ex”<\/p>\n

The flash finally arrived! I opened the box and an unassuming flash came out. Honestly, a cheap looking<\/em> flash came out of it, as I was expecting something like my friend Nono’s\nSpeedlite<\/a>. Instead, I held this seemingly fragile thing. However, after using it, I became a believer.<\/p>\n

Here’s a test-fire with the Sigma, I just pointed it straight up and faced the mirror and see what happened…<\/p>\n

The sucker didn’t even come with batteries, so I had to cannibalize some of my wireless gear here to test it. Overall, I’m happy with the result so far, and the warranty’s there so the only problem I see is if I suddenly realize that it WASN’T<\/em> the model they were advertizing (the model apparently isn’t listed in the Sigma site<\/a> yet)<\/p>\n

Funny that the flash is also called a “EF500 Super DG,” but with the exception of having the letters EO<\/em> added [in the box] at least.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
