{"id":405,"date":"2006-01-24T18:07:33","date_gmt":"2006-01-24T10:07:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nargalzius.com\/blog2\/http:\/www.nargalzius.com\/blog2\/archives\/2006\/01\/2006_01_24_1807.php"},"modified":"2006-01-24T18:07:33","modified_gmt":"2006-01-24T10:07:33","slug":"the-pg13-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/nargalzius.com\/blog\/archives\/2006\/01\/24\/the-pg13-post","title":{"rendered":"The PG13 post"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was looking for a good audio podcast (as in a podcast about audio recording\/engineering) but using the typical keywords are damn difficult (recording, audio) usually hit <em>any<\/em> kind of content because in the world of podcasting, <em>ulitmately,<\/em> everything is audio or recorded.<\/p>\n<p>So I tried clicking on the top rated podcasts and hoped I just found a title which sound like the podcast I was looking for&#8230; then I hit this title:<\/p>\n<h3><em>Sex is Fun<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>So being the responsible, good-boy citizen I am&#8230; I immediately subscribed to hear what&#8217;s up hehehehe. But in all honesty, I have to say <strong>I&#8217;m glad I did.<\/strong><\/p>\n<!--more-->\n<p>The topics were interesting enough, you&#8217;d definitely get something out of the discussions <em>regardless<\/em> of your sexual situation, wether you&#8217;re a total n00b <span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_405_1('footnote_plugin_reference_405_1_1');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_405_1('footnote_plugin_reference_405_1_1');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_405_1_1\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">1 <\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_405_1_1\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">n00b = noob = noobie = newbie \ud83d\ude42 <\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_405_1_1').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_405_1_1', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> at it, or a seasoned professional. <em>Kidder,<\/em> and his co-host(s) have a nice way of articulating their discourse which is very enjoyable yet very informative.<\/p>\n<p>If you can&#8217;t imagine what the hell I&#8217;m talking about, then read on (hence the PG13 post)<\/p>\n<p>The first episode I chose to listen to was &#8220;grooming&#8221; &#8211; since I&#8217;m very much interested in their input on how to groom in every way possible. They start with the normal oral hygiene (breath, etc. etc.), then go into genital hygiene.<\/p>\n<p>I for one like grooming &#8220;down there&#8221; &#8211; wether it be me, or my partner. To me, sex (and a relationship) is always more fun if there&#8217;s <em>nothing<\/em> hindering each other&#8217;s sexuality or sexual performance\/confidence. It&#8217;s always nice to see that your partner took the time to look and smell nice for you, and in turn, you&#8217;ll also feel more confident if you find out that she finds your <em>&#8220;porn-star penis&#8221;<\/em> <span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_405_1('footnote_plugin_reference_405_1_2');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_405_1('footnote_plugin_reference_405_1_2');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_405_1_2\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">2 <\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_405_1_2\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">I mean it being clean and attractive for the most part&#8230; not the size.<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_405_1_2').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_405_1_2', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> really sexy. So basically good grooming and hygiene can work both ways and really go far for partners&#8217; sexual relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Anyways, <em>most<\/em> of what was discussed, I already knew and have applied&#8230; but I was surprised to hear some other trivia I would normally not have known. I for one did <em>not<\/em> know that douching [for women of course] isn&#8217;t preffered for reasons <strong>other<\/strong> than vaginal infections <span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_405_1('footnote_plugin_reference_405_1_3');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_405_1('footnote_plugin_reference_405_1_3');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_405_1_3\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">3 <\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_405_1_3\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">It can also clean up <strong>too much<\/strong> &#8211; which leads to your vagina being dryer than normal, hence more friction during intercourse (or oral sex for that matter) <\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_405_1_3').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_405_1_3', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> I for one did <em>not<\/em> know that even a man&#8217;s <em>nails<\/em> can be an issue (even if you try your darndest to make sure it doesn&#8217;t hit their sensitive areas) &#8211; I guess it&#8217;s just like how women&#8217;s teeth can be a nuisance when they&#8217;re giving head <span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_405_1('footnote_plugin_reference_405_1_4');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_405_1('footnote_plugin_reference_405_1_4');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_405_1_4\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">4 <\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_405_1_4\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">Head = Blow job<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_405_1_4').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_405_1_4', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script>. I also didn&#8217;t know that one of the theories for the existence and primary function of the G-spot is for childbirth.<\/p>\n<p>Another bit of trivia I&#8217;m still contemplating on is the whole pheromone thing. I know it exists, but in the podcast, the host says that when he switched deodorants, women literally we&#8217;re coming up to him more often than before. Apparently his old deodorant was <em>suppressing<\/em> his natural pheromones. I was just inclined to think that he probably just looked and carried himself better during the time he was being hit-on by women&#8230; but that&#8217;s not the point &#8211; my point is the discussions were really interesting.<\/p>\n<p>Basically what you&#8217;ve just read is also the style of exposition used in the podcast&#8230; very matter of fact and direct. For as long as you can get over the whole idea of it being very &#8220;liberated&#8221; (I know how traditional Filipinos may shudder by even reading this), you&#8217;ll notice that neither this particular post, nor the podcast should be offensive, disgusting, or written in poor taste in <em>any way.<\/em> Just facts, opinions, and valid concerns.<\/p>\n<p>If you <strong>do<\/strong> find this information hard to swallow (pardon the pun), then this podcast (or this post for that matter) isn&#8217;t for you &#8211; and I apologize. But if you share my opinions on this and are interested in finding out more about your (or your partner&#8217;s) sexuality, then I recommend giving this podcast a go.
