In a nutshell, it sucked. Sucked is an understatement. It&#8217;s a pitiful excuse for a videogame&#8230; moreso for a follow-up to one of the best storylines that has ever hit the industry.<\/p>\n<p>The graphics sucked. The whole engine was backwards. unnatural movements, laughable control\/handling of character movement. A lot of graphical bugs. And the story&#8230; or absence of it. Might as well spoil it since I can honestly tell people beyond reasonable doubt that this piece of software will be an utter waste of money and time to play.<\/p>\n<p>You start out being &#8220;embraced,&#8221; but instead of killing both you and your sire (that&#8217;s what they call the person who embraced you. The current head of the Vampire society (the Camarilla) allows you to live under his supervision and orders.<\/p>\n<p>The whole middle part of the game is a bunch of sidequests which had a minimal amount of support to the whole plot&#8230; whatever the plot was. And basically you start noticing that there&#8217;s a whole world of politics involved in the different vampire clans, etc. etc. This is worth mentioning because the ending you&#8217;re going to get depends on which side you ultimately take&#8230; and trust me when I say it doesn&#8217;t matter at all.<\/p>\n<p>Anyways, one major quest has something to do with a sarcophagus which was supposed to have contained the body of some elder vampire. Different motives and implications arise from each clan&#8217;s need to obtain (or control at least) the sarcophagus.<\/p>\n<p>And in a totally anticlimactic development of events, the game simply makes you &#8220;win&#8221; by defeating the side you choose to go against. It doesn&#8217;t explain any other &#8220;interesting&#8221; mysteries you might come across in the game upon completion&#8230; including the sarcophagus itself. Or more articulately &#8211; it only sheds enough light on anything so that it has a semblance of relevance in the overall plot, that you can continue through the game.<\/p>\n<p>It was a &#8220;much ado about nothing&#8221; game &#8211; literally the game, and the storyline exemplifies the previous statement. In fairness, it is arguably what the &#8220;real world&#8221; would be like&#8230; you know something like getting riled up about a nuclear bomb, only to find out it was an empty threat&#8230; something like that. But when in games, it doesn&#8217;t hurt to be a bit profound or dramatic because you&#8217;re already in a fictional setting&#8230; so might as well go all the way, otherwise it becomes a pathetic attempt &#8211; which is precisely what this game was. A pathetic attempt &#8211; attempt of what? I don&#8217;t even want to know.<\/p>\n<h2>Gizoogle<\/h2>\n<p>In tribute to Snoop Dog&#8217;s rapping style nowadays, some fans built a google-ish search engine which applies the <em>gangsta slang<\/em> on the results.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gizoogle.com\">http:\/\/gizoogle.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Check it out&#8230; moreso <em>try it out<\/em> I tried bukaspalad on it and it was funny as hell!<\/p>\n<h2>Teacher-student sex<\/h2>\n<p>Watched Larry King a while ago, where he featured the husband of a 24-ish year-old woman who had sexual relations with a 14 year old student.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously the whole moral issue here need not be discussed, as I&#8217;m sure that everyone would agree that it was <strong>wrong.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What struck me though was the teacher was <em>really cute!<\/em> And amidst all the disappointment I felt as a human about the whole thing, the male-maniac in me was also thinking <em>&#8220;what a lucky bastard&#8221;<\/em> [that kid was]. Though on a leash, he can&#8217;t be punished to the full extent of the law since he&#8217;s a minor. Plus he got to screw a hot woman (who was hitting on <em>him<\/em> I might add). Knowing how shallow Americans can be, I&#8217;m pretty sure that in a twisted sort of way, this kid is actually feeling pretty good about this whole deal.
