But even if it wasn’t. The composer would distribute program flyers which this written:

This song is Copyrighted in U.S., under Seal of Copyright # 154085, for a period of 28 years, and anybody caught singin’ it without our permission, will be mighty good friends of ourn, cause we don’t give a dern. Publish it. Write it. Sing it. Swing to it. Yodel it. We wrote it, that’s all we wanted to do.

Though it hardly has any legal merit, it just goes to show that the Ludlow (the copyright holders) weren’t acting in Guthrie’s (the composer) best interests. I mean the composer obviously doesn’t care, so why would any other profit-oriented organization care? There’s your answer right there. It’s just funny that it went on for this long.

Some cool geeky webstuff going on which I plan to incorporate in my own site when I have the time (which probably translates to NEVER). There was another apporach, but was more complicated, though I think lent itself more to browsers and web-standards.

Anyways, the time I try this out, is the time I change my temporary layout – yes what you see is not final since I wanted my blog, gallery, board, etc. up before I even thought of a design. This is just to make site more pleasing to the eyes.

MovableType 3.1 has finally been released! What you see now is an upgraded blog. No changes physically, oh but the engine under the hood is sublime. MTBlackList finally works!

A couple of anime movies are coming out. But the value of the article isn’t in the announcing of such news. If you have time to read it, you’ll find it very interesting as it discusses how Japanese Anime has evolved from the “kiddy-kiddy” misconception the clueless have – to something that can hold its own even against American live-action blockbuster films.

I stand corrected. Apparently the Quentin Tarantino weblog is a fake. You gotta admit the guy was pretty darn good. Hell even Tarantino’s publicist praised the guy.

Wikipedia proves its worth in an experiment where details of entries were purposely edited/replaced with incorrect data. This was to prove that though Wiki data are generally contributed by the public, it is in no way less correct than any other encyclopedia.

This has got to be one of the few instances where you see the human race’s promising capabilities shine through.

According to a recent study, there may be other Earths (inhabitable planets). According to another study we may be alone even in the whole universe.
