My recollection of a bunch of stuff that happened the past couple of days… Dates aren’t needed as they are beside the point.<\/p>\n\n

Frustration<\/h2>\n

Been bugging a person for my compensation from a freelance project 3 years ago.<\/em> Not that money is a problem, but that extra cash [about 1k USD] could go a long way (wether it be for saving, upgrading my PC or getting more camera stuff). It should’ve been 1.5k, but the company in question has been declining over the years that even their current full-time staff has delayed fees, so it’s difficult to really play hardball when you know other people who need the money more<\/em> aren’t getting any.<\/p>\n

However, business is business. I’ve got a backlog of 3 years for chrissake!<\/em> I have every right to even demand interest!<\/strong> But I will remain a flower-person<\/em> (make love not-war) and leave everything to karma, and am now just asking for about 70% of that, which is more than fair.<\/p>\n

I will not give up on this issue and make sure it is dealt with. I guess I’m being evil now, but I can’t help to hope that IF<\/em> I should not<\/em> get paid – the reason should be no less than the company going bankrupt, and the person who contracted me have nothing left (he owns the company)… at all!<\/em><\/p>\n

Online order<\/h2>\n

My online order<\/a> was approved. The items were shipped yesterday (or was that the day before?). Now to be patient for another 3 weeks…<\/p>\n

Movie<\/h2>\n

Watched The Village<\/em><\/a> by M. Night Shyamalan the other day. I thought it was excellent, but not the type of movie you’d recommend based on your<\/em> opinion. I think it’s a movie that you either like or not, nothing in between.<\/p>\n

I’d describe the movie as “crazy.” Yeah that might sum everything up [especially after you watch it].<\/p>\n

Funny thing in Friendster<\/h2>\n

I decided to log onto my friendster account, and see this message from a friend:<\/p>\n

I thought “lets see what he needs, maybe I could be of assistance.<\/em>“<\/p>\n

“Please write me Testis (Testimonials).<\/em>“<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I thought, what a strange request – to actually be active<\/em> in your search for people to write to you. He must be lonely… so I check out his profile. 75 testimonials<\/strong> and counting! I couldn’t stop laughing! All I could think was I only have about – 13? I don’t mind.<\/em><\/p>\n

Are they really that great… So great to make a person think – Oh my God! I only have 75+ testimonials… I’m doomed!<\/em> It’s just funny seeing a person so absorbed<\/em> with testimonials. Will they mean the same thing when you actually forced<\/em> people to make it?<\/p>\n

He’s a good kid though – so I’m not here to bash or anything. I hope he gets his testimonials =)<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
