So the folks at Mogics either have a sub-brand or a sister company called Card. I’m not exactly sure how they are related (or if they’re the same company) but whatever the case may be, the offerings they put in Kickstarter have been very interesting.
Their KS campaign called them “Murphy’s Law Breaker” – and for lack of a better term I’m going to call them “modern emergency tools.” Because they have something to do with USB gadgets and cellular devices in general.

He also wore an entirely different model which I didn’t really care for.
Either the internet didn’t have any info on it that night, or I was too stupid to consider searching (probably the latter) – but I finally identified the sunglasses in question two months after. It was a Matsuda M3023.

My sister and I were discussing the proposed modification on the number-coding scheme. We basically agreed on the same things – I thought I’d share my thoughts on the matter.
To be fair, It doesn’t take an advanced math degree to realize that something like the number coding scheme does deal with volume of vehicles on the road. The real question is if such a solution also takes into account other factors surrounding the traffic situation. The short of it, it doesn’t – and that’s where it fails to be a lasting “solution”.
The problem, really, is that this can be easily avoided by those who can afford to buy new vehicles to circumvent the “rule” – which will eventually bring the volume back to what it was very quick.
I assume people who actually understand what I’m saying can imagine why this assumption is correct, but for the sake of being thorough (and for the sake of blogging about it), let me paint a clearer picture to put some perspective. Read More

I had actually forgotten that this was in the drafts… a lot has changed (in my life) since then, but I think I should retain the article as is because it would take too much effort to edit stuff just for the sake of making the post more “current/general.” So everything below was written the 28th of April, 2012
We just got back from our second trip to Pinatubo. I thought I already had known all there is to know about doing a trip like that one – but interestingly enough this time was a tad different – as it was our first time to try one of those discount deal sites (in this case, it was CashCashPinoy)
